ok i know you wil all tell me to read the manual and do a search but listen.
i cant reset my maint required light. i ALREADY have done it successfully last oil change and have read the manual and attempted it 5x already this time around unsuccessfully.
what could i be doing worng??
the directions are vaugue sort of(even though apparently they werent last timei did it)
-how long do you hold the button while the cars off?(it doesnt specify)
-how loing do oyu hold it while on II (it says ten second but mine beeps and the temp goes 1.2.3.0.-1.-2.-3 and so on over and over but wheni turn the car on the mait. req'd light is back)

any suggestions of maybe a common mistake im making that im not realizing

your holding the wrong button. Turn the car off and hold both select and rest button down. Turn the car to II and keep holding down for about 10 sec.

hold the 2 buttons for a while, then turn the engine over (while still holding the buttons) and wait a few seconds... it should go away.
