Another Goodbye Acura CL thread....:(
Well, after Elliott (the Kid) joined us, I needed a 4 door car. So the CL was parted over the last couple months. I finally got a decent deal for my CLs. I traded it in on Saturday for 2 vehicles. I got a pretty good amount taken off the stickers for each car and about $4000 more for the CL than any other dealership was offering.
I ended up getting a Silver 03 Pathfinder SE with black leather for the wife and kid. It has about 50K and was certified til 100K. Drives really well. I have to get used to the 4 wheel drive, but other than that it's better than any other truck I drove except the MDX.
For myself I got an dark silver 04 Infiniti I35. The interior is tan. Very clean. The only thing is that I'm probably going to change the brakes since the rotors looks a bit suspect although it stops a lot better than the CL. It has 55K on the odometer and is warrantied til about 100K as well. For me and my 25K a year I will be out of warranty in 2 years.
Here are some pics.....
The Old....
The New....
Yeh, I need new car mats for both cars.

$4K more !! Cool.. I couldn't believe some of th low ball offers you were getting...
Both rides look great, should be good with carseats, and at least you didn't get a minivan...

*definitely glad nissan didn't change the I35 that year w/ the '04 maxima, i'm sure that would've lookes bad (in case you're not following me, look at Ravi's I35 and look at the '03 Maxima; the bodies/interiors are almost identical) I would definitely take an '03 over an '04 anyday.

thepathfinder will be stout. has the 3.5 in it right, if it does be ready for it to suck some gas down. and the all wheel dire system, do u have the one in the lower left hand corner that goes form 2wd to auto to 4wd then 4lo.......because my QX is like that, or maybe u have a veriation of it. i generally use 2wd alot, but once it gets rainy out or a little bit of slush i put it in auto so only the fronts will hook up if it's losing traction. other then that and it's snowing it's in 4wd and it will go through anything you thow at it.

Yeh, it's 3.5. We're not planning on using it a lot more than for Beth to drive around doing stuff with the baby and for when she goes back to work. And for trips. Everyday use is the I35.

I just bought my Acura CL 3.2 Type S but had previously owned a Infiniti I30, They are a great line, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Sounds like an awesome deal!

The kid wasn't the only reason. A lot had to do with the tranny warranty running out in 12K miles (for me that's less than 6 months).
