Of course it's possible but you'll need to do some serious cutting of your hood, fenders, and front bumper.

May I ask why you'd even want to attempt this? Are the RSX headlamp housings that much more attractive to you?

Uh... yeah absolutely. When you can pick one up for under $14,000 without a doubt.

The average age on this side of the forum used to be late twenties mid thirties.

It's now overrun with high school and freshman in college.

Where there's a will, there's a way, I suppose...and $$$.

But why, pray tell, would you want to do that...?

Exactly. I'm 38, and the only other person in town that I know is a friend who bought a CLS and is 53. It's the same way with my S2000. Fortunately, there aren't that many of either cars around my small 20,000 population town. I have seen 2 other S2000s, and one other CL (2nd gen) around town and that's it. It's one of the reasons I like both cars so much. I like having something that I see no one else driving.

Incidentally, my friend that I spoke of, had someone T-bone him in his CLS a couple weeks ago. TOTALED. He ended up buying a new RL. Now he's seriously considering a new M6 as his toy. I can't wait to drive it.

no i dont want to have those lights and i actualy bought this car 3 weeks ago with a upgraded bulbs they are brighter and bluer than the stock hids but i dont know what exactly they are. i was just wonderin if the rsx light housing would fit in and fit the same bulbs but i guess not.

thanks for your iunput though, i was just wondering if anyone had it done and if it looked good but apparently this would be a ridiculous thing to do.

i am very happy with the li9ghts in there now but i have a little moisture in the front passeneger side so i was contemplating new light houseing

(still a newbie to this site and the cl, used to drive integras and gtis{ex-ricer})

i agree im 22 but my car is virtually stock except for the headlight bulb upgrade that was there when i bought it. some of the cleanest most tastefull cars i have seen have been owned by younger college aged kids. i agree-unfair to stereotype

Bluer yes but not brighter. The stock HID's bulb color is the max for light output. Any higher will get you bluer, but will also degrade the light output.

It happens to every forum once the cars hit the 5-7 year old mark... Now that 01 CL's are priced under 10K, I'm sure we'll see alot more... ahh... "interesting" threads

Hey Im 22 and got my 01 SMR for $10,250 and will not be ricing out this car ever. I just got it and recognize just how nice this car is. I will be putting LEDs inside, a lip spoiler, maybe a drop, CAI and 03 tails. If that's riced out then I better get some pork cause Pork Fried Rice is my favorite.

I didn't say anything about rice... I said "interesting". By this I meant the RSX "upgrade" type threads, angel eyes, and other assorted debauchery that can be performed on a luxury sports coupe...

Don't get all defensive unless you've participated in the above mentioned debauchery

PS... Since you own a SMR CL, I can tell that you've got better taste then most members here

Don't Do It man!!!

Our cars have probably one of the nicest headlight setups out there. (Other than the Skyline R34 of course!) They look perfect, and fit out cars so well. Don't go ruin it with some RSX lights. . .It just wont look right!!

the 2nd gen. CL is a nice car, especially for younger guys like us
if you plan to mod it, have some class, which goes for everyone with a CL
