Annoucing a New "Prototype" Headers from Stone Racing!!!

Guys....

Tada....Let the drums beat

I was just notified of the following:

1) A new "Prototype" Headers would be soon released
2) The headers are made by STONE racing
3) They are made in United Kingdom (no more Taiwanese jokes )
4) They are made from Shiny Stainless Steel.
5) They would outperform OBX headers in Build Quality
6) They would outperform OBX headers in HP/TQ gains

7) Priced very competetively to beat other HQ Headers (Comptech and Prototype Racing). I am working on initial Promotional Group Buy Deal for you guys

8) I was promised to get a "Final Prototype" version (overnight shipped) within the next 2-3 weeks.
9) I will be taking pictures, installation review, and Dyno and initial impression...

10) I will start taking pre-orders soon after I got the STONE headers reviewed!

You will be STONED.

I wish you guys luck with the new supplier.
Just remember, if it’s based on the old Prototype Racing design it still WON’T fit on the 6-Speed CL.

Hmmmmmmm
I can’t seem to find “Shiny Stainless Steel” in my Engineering Material selection handbook.

I'm not buying any more freakin' headers!! OK, maybe if they develop more hp/torque lower in the rev range than OBX.

Update: The new "Prototype" headers would be here sometime next week!!

Update: The new "Prototype" headers would be here sometime next week!!

I have been told, that a final production sample would be shipped to me next week to be tested on my CLS... As before, it would be a nice opportunity to schedule a dyno session for the Before (OBX headers) and after (Stone Headers)....

Yuppie... I can't wait... I have been assured that the new STONE headers would put the OBX headers to shame...

5) They would outperform OBX headers in Build Quality
6) They would outperform OBX headers in HP/TQ gains
I don't want some what *would*, I want some that *WILL*

Can we get any more power from headers? I don't think they will outperform anyone. Isn't this the same BS we heard about the OBXs? They perform just like the Comptechs. pretty soon headers will be giving us as much hp and tq as blowers!

Gee...if they can send two prototypes then I would offer my CL-S for a "stock headers" vs. "Stoned headers"!

hhmmm...don't think that idea is going to work but I thought I'd try!

What about fitting these onto a 1st Gen...Comptech's fit both, don't know why they can't find a universal fit for these. See what they say. They could increase their market substantially with a model that can bolt onto both.

Never heard of Stoned RAcing. What kind of shit are you guys gonna put in your cars now. Granted OBX is some of the worst quality compared to Comptech put the power is still there. What do we know about this company?
Nashua thanks for checking it out if gains are towards lower end compared to OBX and Comptechs consider me in for a set. I need these soon before E-town opens in March whats the ETA?

For sure it would fit the V6 Accord 98+ and 2nd Gen CL/TL Auto, now as for the 1st gen we have to see...note that the OBX headers was successfully installed on the 1st Gen with just 1" bend on the rear branch of the A-Pipe...
As for the CLS-6 it is a wait and see... I have to ask about all those issues to...

Has anyone heard of "Stone Racing" before?

If so, do you or anyone you know own any of their stuff?

I just can't believe that in 2003 a company would not even have a website.

At least I had heard of OBX before they made headers for our cars...

Are these equal length headers or the same style as the OBX & Comptech? If they are equal length they should provide more low end power but lose a little on th top end...personally I'm not in the high RPM range that often so if they are equal length I'm definitely interested!
