coming home from work tonight i see headlights coming up fast behind me, i was in the left lane it was coming up in the right. i could tell it was lowered w/ some silverstar headlights. i look over and see a black jetta dropped on some 18's. so i pull back on the stick, grab 3rd and goose it a little bit. i got up to ~ 70 then slow back down, he does a ricer fly-by so i start flashing my high beams to say come on, let's do this. unfortunately for him the upcoming light was red so he had to stop, unfortunately for me it turned green before i had a chance to line up next to him. luckily enough the light 1/4 mile down the road turned yellow just as we both pulled up to it.

i look over at the jetta and the passenger in the back rolls down his window and signals me to do the same. he says "let's go from a stop, i guarantee this thing will beat you". i say ok, lets go. so i turn VSA off and get ready for the light to turn green. light goes green and i'm off with minimal wheelspin. i must have put 8 cars on him by the time i was mid way through 2nd. i'm guessing he realized after a few seconds that he had no chance and let off. he stayed back about a 1/4 mile until i turned off. kind of a weak kill, but i hardly ever get to line up w/ someone who wants to go so...
