I would love to see someone make something like these for our CL's.

Yay or nay?

those are pretty sweet..i dont know how it would look for our cars though ..and plus, i don't think we'd ever get that type of support for our cars.

they'll be cool for about 3 months then every ricer on the road's gonna have them... like those 2 shitty neon-lights on the hood...

so this is another ricer-fad in the making

Here

You may want to ask Jim Powell over at bimmerforums about a CL-S application:

i'm actually trying to put a package like this together. i'm not a retailer or manufacturer...just regular joe blow car nut guy. been trying to get some feedback from the board on a few things but to no avail. the halo would only really fit over our high beams. but i think they might look dumb with only one halo per side. so i was thinking maybe a round fog w/halo. at first i was thinking maybe put the round fog w/halo in lieu of the 01/02 road lamps. but then i thought that that would look weird at dusk/dawn - it would give like a worried look. so then i was thinking maybe round fogs w/halos just inboard of the major vertical of our smiley bumper - should give a more aggressive look when lit

thoughts? comments? requests? questions? obcene remarks?

that looks like the halo is on the lens and not the actual light itself. in reality the halo would be surrounding the lens of the actual lamp no?

I was thinking more in terms of redoing our low-beams into a projector HID much like the ones in the picture so you have 4 "eyes" like the 5 series. I agree that just having the eye over the high-beam would look ghey. Maybe RonDog can photoshop something for us??

Angel eyes (or DDE's(daytime demon eyes) ... Jim Powell's latest creation) are sik! I was about to get a set for my M3 before I sold it. They've been developed a long ways... and are now brighter and available in different colors. Check bimmerforums.com for more info.

But I honestly don't think it'd look right on our cars. It would be like throwing some AMG monoblocks on our cars. It's just not intended for our CL's/TL's. The angel eyes look is basically a "trademark" of BMW just as their roundel is. I don't like to mix and match my brand names, but that's simply my .02 cents
