alternator upgrade

So im new to this site but im in this thread because i have a 6th gen accord and already did this upgrade with a slight mod and now im buying a cl on wednesday and wanted to do this as my first mod. I looked under the hood and the placement looks exactly the same. On my 6th gen it was completly worth it as they come with two different alt. denso and delphi both 105 amps anyway there is a whole write up on that forum about it. The Odyssey 130 amps really helped my car. So I believe yes it will fit and yes you will like it. when I get my car I will post pics maybe by friday.

Be sure to post some pics when you get the car.
does the odyssey share the same same housing as the cl or is it larger ?
Also what the differnce between the 2 @ idle amps ?

alternator

Well its pretty much plug and play the only difference is the housing is to the right instead of on top looking down at the engine bay. so you will get a little bit of a tug on the plug but if you pull enough you can make it reach with no problems. as far as idle the only difference i noticed was after i did the big 3.
OK so to some it up.
Remember I did this on the 6 gen:
My lights will dim when I
put on my turn signal, turn up the radio, put the window up or down, turn on my headlights, the AC basically anything electronic.
I installed the alt. and all of that when away and I had a big smile on my face so that was the reasoning behind the upgrade.
Then I decided to put a throttle body spacer and my idle was over a 1k!! I know crazy only in park though.
So I decided to do the big 3 cuz they recommended it after the alt. upgrade and my idle has smoothed out and no problems since. totaly worth it IMO. My little personal experience
