Alternator problem?

Alternator problem?
Hey I have a question. Whevener I leave my car parked for en extended period of time (such as overnight), I have trouble starting it the next morning. I hear a bunch of clicks when trying to start and the engine turns over slowly. No problems starting the car at other times. Does this sound like the alternator is bad? I'm taking my car in for service tomorrow and just wanted to get some general opinions before. Thanks guys.

If the car is slow to start like and produces the clicking every time, the battery is not charged, and you could have a bad alternator or bad cell in the battery.
If the problem is at the begining of the day, or after the car has sat for a while (say 6+ hours), then you have a slow drain on the battery. Good luck finding that. Make sure your dome light is not on.
