Posted this in problems and fixes but that place is always low traffic. Figure I'd post it here to get a few responses faster.


This fucking rattle is driving me crazy. It sounds to be coming from up near the passenger side where the dash meets the windshield, or near the passenger airbag. It sounds like a screw is rolling around in a glass jar and I can't figure it out.

I've searched and searched and haven't been able to find a definitive problem or solution. I don't want to have to take this to the dealer if possible. Have any of you figured out what it is and how to fix it?

 

There could have been something that dropped in the defroster vent, that happened in my bothers old truck.

 

Maybe u have something in ur golve department..
