Almost rear-ended a 328 on Airpark Rd tonight.
This week's been a busy one it seems.
Some focker in a red 328 was on my ass in traffic and eventually there was room for me to move over so I could get the bright headlights out of my rearview mirror. As it passed by I saw 328 on the trunk. The traffic thinned out as we neared the nice sweeper on Airpark (heading towards 124). I see him taking it kinda fast so I roll through the turn and have to brake a bit so I don't get too close. Wouldn't want to be an asshole and ride his ass or anything, right?
Anyway I guess I was close enough that he wanted to go or something, because I smell his exhaust and his car is creeping away from me so I floor it and eat up the distance and have to let off twice to keep from getting dangerously close to his rear end.
I had music on and windows up so I couldn't hear the exhaust as much as I could smell it when he stepped on it. Then he moved over and stepped on it, so I floored it and passed him. Meh. I guess those things are slow.
For the BMW questioners who always pop up in threads where anyone races a BMW. Yeah I'm sure it was an auto and it was stock go-fast-wise... OMG just like my car.
