That is one thing i cant stand at some forums are the HUGE pics in peoples sig, almost like they are trying to compensate for something

Ehmm.. new Altimas are very quick... they will destroy any stock CLS-Auto and hang with CLS-6....
The Maxima if well driven is very quick too!
Nothing to be ashamed of other then cheap interior...but this is no infinity either.... just relax... if there was no CL ever you will find me riding a maxima... or now the G35!

I think we should cut all this crap out and act like civilized folks. Maxima's have their own following and the CL's have their own following.
It's really not about what the 'average' Nissan or 'average' CL runs in the 1/4... nor what 'Joe-Schmoe's' Nissan or whoever's CL clocks down the quarter. It's about each individual car and the potential of the car/driver combo. If you guys want to talk shit... just back it up WITH YOUR OWN CAR. There's always somebody out there that's quicker and no sense trying to boost your ego on someone else's achievements!

Its funny because there are Donkeys who own CLS/TLS as well as maxes and altimas. Most of you guys are pretty good and there are some that were pretty cool on the Max board. There will always be a few assholes on all boards.
Funniest post in that thread was when someone mentioned that allmotor probably lost to a turboed civic! It was funny because allmotor probably knows as much about the civic then any of those cats (considering he had one) and I'm sure a well tuned turbo civic would probably hand most of those guys their asses (as it would hand us our asses).

This is somthing that will never end so why keep trying to debate it? I've beat my friend in a 01 Mustang GT (Ran a 15.3) and my other friend in a WRX (ran a 14.8) both on the track of course because they both couldn't drive stick worth shit. Does that mean my car is faster?...no it doesn't. I don't understand why this BS keeps coming up? Everyone thinks their cars are faster. Allmotor did somthing that is unique to the CL. I think he deserves everyone's props...including the Nissan guys. It seemed they were doing that at first in that tread however it got ugly. There is no reason for that.
I know this girl who has an 01 maxima on some 19's. I think it looks sweet as hell. I think the interior is pretty nice too. So what if you don't like it...and so what if they don't like our cars. We didn't buy a Nissan and they didn't buy a CL. Let it be...
Oh well, I never respond to these type of threads but I'm getting kinda tired of them. I just wanted to give my $.02
