NEVER go there for an alignment...Vic's good for rims but other than that I wouldn't even think about going there. I hate the customer service there.

Like the two posts above, go give Darin a call at West End. Well worth the drive

I agree with shiny on this one. I would purchase products from them, but never any labor.

^ shiny's right though, I didn't have them balance my wheels. I just needed a corner balance/alignment.

San Diego

For San Diego:

C & D Auto Care
Owner Dara
Address: 7167 University Ave
La Mesa, CA 91941

Phone: (619) 466-9100

Has the latest Hunter stuff and is extremely technical. Recommended by the Hunter equipment rep.

On the corner alignment:
Q) Does the shop need to have special tools to do it?
If so what?

For Corner-Balancing he puts the car on a scale attempting to make it an even distribution. Not the most 'spectacular' tools to be using, but his precision is what takes about 3 hours. I guess the only "special tool" you need is patience and a good mechanic.
