All S/C members with post and present misfire codes!!!

Just wanted to know which s/c members had misfire codes and currently still do.

I just sent my supercharger back to comptech to reseal the oil leak. (I've been without my car for a month) I threw it back in the car last night, on the way back from work today the p0301 code came up. I had the code prior to the s/c removal...so i changed all the coils and swapped the spark plugs around...so im back in the same boat...

could it be the increase in fuel pressure which damaged one of the injectors?
i don't want to tear my car apart again )= i've been without my car for too long..it felt great just driving it again..even with the engine light on... i miss compliments at stop lights

so what do you guys think? if anyone had a p0301 w/ s/c'er let me know!!

i hope it isnt my compression )=

hmmm I never had that problem before with my S/C.

that code p0301 means "Cylinder 1 is misfiring"

I guess check your PCV valve and your EGR could be faulty since my friend had a similar code like yours but his code was P0302 cylinder 2 is misfiring on his integra Type R back then as I could remember. but I did some basic research for you

Symptoms
Symptoms may include:

* the engine may be harder to start
* the engine may stumble / stumble, and/or hesitate
* other symptoms may also be present

Causes

A code P0301 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:

* Faulty spark plug or wire
* Faulty coil (pack)
* Faulty oxygen sensor(s)
* Faulty fuel injector
* Burned exhaust valve
* Faulty catalytic converter(s)
* Running out of fuel
* Poor compression
* Defective computer
Fuel injectors, related wiring, sensors and computer issues
Running out of gas, or poor fuel quality
Evaporative emissions system (EVAP) concerns: fuel vapors leaking into engine
Incorrect Fuel Pressure
EGR system concerns: leaking EGR valve or restricted ports
Base engine concerns: low compression, valve train problems and timing issues

what is your Fuel Pressure reading at idle? should be around 36psi - 40psi
and check your wide band for A/F at WOT. shouldn't be the S/C. otherwise your car will stall like crazy. I'd say take it to a shop and have them do some testing

btw nice mods man! 19' Volk JDM wheels I wanna to that but in 18s sorry to highjack.

I was throwing misfire codes in cylinders 1-6 when I use to get on it even though my dynos have always been perfect curves. Every once in a while I could feather it down and cell would just flash but not stay on. Anyways, I ended up with a quarter size hole in my second flex pipe (before the test pipe) and had to get it fixed. Now for some reason no more codes. I wouldn't have thought a small exhaust leak would cause missfire codes but who knows.

I'm wondering if I could rule out the fuel system ..mainly because my a/f is 10-11 at boost and 12-13 at less than conservative accleration. But at crusing its 14.9-15..
Could the ful press be faulty even thought the wideband is reading good numbers?

A CEL light came on ONE TIME when I powered out of a toll plaza on the Sawgrass Xway here in S. Florida (90+ degrees daily). I am running the HBP and heard alittle knock and immediately backed off the throttle. The CEL came on and it stayed on. The next morning, upon a cold start, the light stayed off. I don't know what code was thrown; however, been real fortunate to have very little trouble with the S/C'er (besides an oil change/reseal when it leaked) after 50K since it's been installed despite the high temps. The car currently has 100K and my fuel pressure consistantly runs between 30-35psi at idle.

Just last week I started my car, pulled out, and realized the CEL was on. after a day or so it went off by itself. I pulled the codes and they came back with cylinder 1,3,5 misfire and mutliple misfire code. Everything is running fine. I will do a compression check soon and get an emange. I am on the 4.5psi pulley. When I start my car for the first 20-30 seconds upon cold start up I can feel lots of misfireing. And that is when the CEL must have come on.

Can't even enjoy my boost without worrying
my car hesitates on 2nd during accleration and just shakes when im down on the throttle...
so i haven't even really launched my car yet )= sigh*

it seems as if 8/10 of the s/cer's have Misfire codes
But its mainly with the CLs
from the day i installed the s/cer there has been problems; but its being weaved out one at a time.
My friends with the 04TL kit have no problems; my guess is that comptech provides them with a piggyback box instead of a ESM.

...back to the misfires.....gonna check compression and swap injectors..

but i have to say; this is totally worth the headache! love the whine and pride of driving a s/c CL

check that fuel pressure and that the esm is soldered and wired up correctly. Those would be my first guesses. Especially since you are running rich

esm is soldered up good;
REally have to check the fuel pressure...need to find the correct fitting "t" for my gauge.

I had the same problem. My spark plug was loose and coil burned a hole. Got a new spark plug and coil. Issue is now the spark plug does not want to screw on and cleaned all the threads with a thread cleaner and still does not want to screw on. Any suggestions?

I had following codes
P0300 Cyl misfire detected
P0301 cyl #1 misfire
P0302 cyl #2 misfire
P0303 cyl #3 misfire
P0304 cyl #4 misfire
P0305 cyl #5 misfire
P0306 cyl #6 misfire
P1399 pending random cyl misfire

Replaced the gas cap and they all went away. Now I make sure I get the three clicks out of the gas cap. The car ran just fine even though it had all these codes. Maybe running more fuel pressure drops the pressure in the gas tank more than the ECU likes?

No I'm not supercharged, just though this may be useful to you boosted guys.

I think you may have blown out the old spark plug, taking the threads with it. Youll need to have it rethreaded.

I currently have a misfire on cylinder 1,2,3,4. I', pretty sure its the coil packs. Might only be 2 out of the 4. Sucks having to remove the blower just to replace the coils.. Oh well
