Has anyone replaced the factory radio with an aftermarket CD player and been able to retain the Navigation voice? I do not think it is possible but I got this PM below from someone else. I was told by a stereo shop that it was not possible. If possible do you need any kind of auxilary adapters?

Dude, just so you know you can put a new head unit in there and still have the navi voice.... I did it -- simple!

I heard it CAN be done, but you need to cut into the factory harness and know the PINS to tap.
If anyone knows how to do it, I would think StreetEffects in Jersey should know how.
Send him a PM or E-Mail.

PS.....What’s the NAV version in your new ride?
Is it newer then 2.05 by chance ???
