Hey guys, I am trying to gather up a good amount of clips so that i can make a video compialation of modified cars.
My goal is to focus more on performance than looks in this video. I want to gather up clips from people who have NA cars with the basic bolt ons (I/h/e/pullies/chip etc..) some from the SC guys auto and 6 speed, and a few from the turbo'd cars. Clips should be of the tachometer, with runs from 0-at least to 80 or 20-100 and so on. Stock runs would be good too if a member can contribute that, so we can have a baseline.
I want to put these in order based on mods level, so that we can see the differences between each level. I think it would be great to have a comparison of speedo vids right after each other in one video.
I have an ftp setup for this purpose and so if you guys have any clips you want to contribute, please PM me and i will give you the info on where to send it. Also, include a couple of pics of the car and under hood shots if possible, along with a list of mods!
Hopefully we can get enough video's so that this video comes out to be good!

i was thinking of possibly including some of those racing videos as well. the point is to get a dedicated few minutes of JUST the speedo from the various cars. but i do want to throw in some races as well, towards the end of the vid.
one last thing i forgot to mention: if you have dyno's, send those too so i can put that in as well.
finally, please be careful if you plan on videotaping and driving at the same time!

i got a vid of my car doing 0-80, seems pretty slow from the vid, i guess it was the passenger, same day later on at the track i went 14.23@99.49

that camera you got is sweet. i will be putting vids of my car right in line with clips from yours. as soon as you have any available, pm me. even if you post them up in the forum, pm me just in case i miss it.

finally, i really hope to get a good set of these vids. the best ones are the ones that go the longest i.e. 0-100 20-120, things like that because i can cut some parts out if necessary. the more the better! so far, i have turbo,sc,na w/bolt ons, and cl-p with intake. another turbo vid either from allmotor or the auto turbo cl, another sc vid, another cls with bolt ons, and a stock cls vid would allow me to create a really nice compialation.
in the end, i will also host all the clips for a while on my cousins superfast server for those who want to get certain ones, unless the owners of the vids request otherwise.

we can do this also. i/h cls is also needed as the bolt on car vid i have so far is from a cls with i/h/e/chip/pulley

 

I dont have my videos yet because i dont have the software. i ordered it on thursday and the guy said it would be here by mon. but its not here. When i get the software i will DL ASAP. I have about 5 0-80 runs and some runs with my friends 240sx getting smoked but when the software comes in i will dl asap sorry for the wait

i have about 5 'useable' videos. i will be adding another vid of my own car when i get a dig camera. oh yeah, i just realized this last night. make sure you are on a flat road. please do not make the runs on a downhill road as that will skew the results significantly. I was doing some runs last night on a downhill and my car was picking up speed MUCH quicker.
I want this video to truly demonstrate the differences of a cls/tls with various bolt ons.
Mrsteve, send me dyno shots if you have them and want them in the video.
The video will be compialed within a month or so, and i will try my best to get all the clips on a fast server so aclers can dl them individually!

ok thanks for the vid. i have been procastinating on this vid because of finals this coming week. but i got a new digicam and will take some good vids of my car and allmotor's if hes willing and finally create the video!

not yet. i am waiting to get some good clips of my own car, and want to get some of allmotor's before i finish this thing. i got a new digicam that can record mp4 vids at 640X480 30fps so our clips should be really enjoyable to watch! ill update this thread when needed, and will create a new thread when the vid is actually released so no one will miss it!
