to all cls that are lowered

hey guys, i was wondering when you go over a speed bump if the bottom of your cl hits it. Not the bumper but right after the wheels go over the bump. Is this a common problem? And i dont even go over them really fast or anything. I have coilovers by the way

i have a ct drop with 19's and if i accidently go over a bump just a little to quick, it will rub. Nothing major though just barely grazes the wheel.

I've bottomed out with Eibach springs, but the damn bump was HUGE. Definitely not common, I drive like 40 miles a day.

Learn to angle your way up any speed bump.

I scrape my drivers side lower control arm if I don't "creep" over the speed bumps. Still on OEM shocks after having my pro kit on from purchase in 2000.

Have the Comptech drop on stock rims/tires and i can go over speed bumps fairly briskly with no problems.

i would either angle it, or most likely just roll up to the bump and stop when the tires hit the front of it, then roll over it slowly, and the same with the back tires.... just to be safe.

Same here... except I have the H&R Sports (1.75" drop). I tend to hit speed bumps at an angle anyway... but even when I hit them "head-on", I've never bottomed out.....

The only speed bump Ive ever hit was the ones at my work, they're little but devious, I have the Tein SS on my car, but never really had a problem....just depends on the speed ur going and how big the bump is !
