I don't have a WRX nor CL-S, but I did look into the two, as well as the TL-S. The WRX is fun, fast, AWD, etc. I do prefer the previous Impreza's look. Price wise there is a significant difference between the WRX and CL-S. If $$ wasn't an issue, I would take the CL-S. I don't care if it is slighty slower, as it is much more luxurious and stylish. Some cars are fun when driven like a race car, as well as when driven like grandpa. I can see people driving the CLS/TLS at 20 miles and still have a big grin. With the WRX at slow speed it isn't exactly comfortable, stylish, good looking, plus you don't get toys like sun roof, steering wheel control, etc.

Don't get me wrong, it is a good bang for the $, but it doesnt have a many dimensions. I haven't been in the RSX but I thing that is in a similar class. Nice but the driver gets squished inside, and not much goodies inside.

vey impressive numbers but not everyone is a good enough driver to attain them. The same goes for the CLS when it comes out in a 6 speed. It's all about the driver...

Not bad for a $25K car. I finally realized that Turbocharged cars have sooooooooo much potential as my buddy's S4 was proof of that. Man that thing is a rocket now with all the crap he added, but I guess it's a trade off since the engine/turbo will not last as long now I guess. BTW, I don't know about you guys, besides the numbers, I think the WRX is not a "pretty" looking car.

Lame...First you say how your car is better.
Then compared to faster cars...you use the excuse its only a 4-banger. When its more luxurious you say how people paid more. What a fruit. :P

Type WRX....Like I said in another post...you are stupid. Tell me something. What's faster, a Bentley or a Camaro SS? Camaro right. which one is the better car? Bentley right. See where I'm going with this? your car may be a little faster and go around a corner a little harder, but when it comes down to it 99% of the people out there would rather have a CL-S. It's just a better car dumbass. You're comparing apples to oranges. BTW Arguing on the internet is like running in the special olympics...even if you win, you're still retarded.

Didn't Subaru once attempt to enter the luxury/performance car segment? That car totally bombed and became an abysmal failure, did it not?

The one I am referring to is the SVX...it didn't even have real windows

Check out this page I found:

http://www.subarusvx.com/

Apparently, the SVX was a pioneer in "quality" workmanship. As stated on the site, "The SVX has three main faults: transmission failure, wheel bearing failure, and warped rotors. The rotor problems are caused by the sheer weight of the SVX--3,600 pounds.

The SVX sold for between $28k and $35k. Hmmm, seems like CL-S owners aren't the only ones, nor the first, to buy $30k luxury/performance cars. It seems we were preceeded by Subaru owners. But, I'm straying off-topic here...we're talking about the almighty...ahem, cough...WRX.

OMG!!! Since when did the CL start racing with Subbies? I'll race the WRX....to the club...where I can drive by...pick up some chicks and leave....
Style and substance are always a lot better than substance alone.

This is also pretty quick, it can certainly take down the WRX but not many want this vehicle, 13.184 @ 102.57 mph:

At 13.184 @ 102.57 , I'll take that minivan any day. Slap on a new paint job, throw in a bed in the back with a mini fridge, tv and DVD player...add some curtains, and I'll be pimpin'
