Some needed alignment some didn't. My dealership would let me do the springs without the alignment So I got the alignment anyway. I say go ahead and do the alignment. Better safe then sorry

$70 bux for just two tires and $140 for all four.

i'm just wondering if i will only need it in the front because of the weight?

$50 at sears, tire discounters, k-mart, etc. Get the 4-wheel (you can't do a 2-wheel on our cars), but $140 is outrageous.

When you lower your car, things ARE going to change. It all depends on how much you slammed your car, how fast and in what way you're gonna wear out your tires. With the H&R OE springs (1" drop in front), my alignment guy was able to restore everything to within factory spec. However, I asked him to adjust the toe to -0.05" (which results in the wheel angling slightly out) on each front wheel to improve tracking (at the expense of minimal tire wear).

Radical slammers should be aware of the adverse affects of extreme lowering on your alignment. BTW, you shouldn't have to pay more than $70 for a 4-wheel aligment. (That's the Northern Virginia price at a really good speed shop, CDE Motorsports.)

Sounds like a bunch for an alignment.

I had the alignment right after spring install at the dealership. The alignment was $49.99. And thats the posted price, not because I had other work done there.

Just to let you know that after the alignment my left rear was off about .1. So perhaps you shouldn't expect perfection. Life is still good as there is no excessive tread wear on any of the tires. I have had the tires rotated twice since then so that helps.
