Alarm pager add-on

It's called a Millenium SF car alarm pager. It works with or without a car alarm. I think it connects to the stock alarm the same way the shock sensor does.

Without an alarm, I think it just connects to the door/trunk/hood switches.

I'm thinking about trying this out.

I found it at http://www.12voltshop.com

it probably connects to the alarm horn. that would be the easiest way to wire it

there's the other one on the same site that connects to the stock alarm, but i don't think it has all the features of the other one.

i'm still trying to decide which one to try.

i just downloaded the installation instructions.

the main connection would be from the negative trigger; connected in parallel to the the shock sensor if you have one installed...this part would be easy.

the other sensors (door opened/trunk/hood/etc) are connected to the respective triggers on the alarm, but the diagram shows those triggers in parallel with the input to the alarm unit which is different from the alarm harness on the fuse box. anyone know where the stock alarm unit is?

if anything, the other features dont' have to be used...but then i may just get the other one for $85 instead. still thinking aobut it.

Ok, I just bought the damn thing (Mill. SF); $100 + $7.95 s/h.

I won't be able to install it until the 3rd week of August, but I'll keep everyone updated on how it works when I do get it in.

(also doing the shock sensor install at the same time, along with programming the tl-s remote, neuspeed strut bar installation, gold bagde/grill installation, wood trim installation, vent trim installation, piaa 19224 (or something like that) installation, and maybe another coat or two of z5 and z2...i'm gonna have a busy homecoming!)

when the company pays for your incidentals (gas, food, rental car, porn, moisturizer), and all you do is work 75+ hr/weeks, and there's nothing civilized within a 2 hour (2 hour drive at 75mph!) radius, and you invest like 85% of your pay every month and still have a growing cash flow, you gotta do something about it.
