I found my car gets so hot in south FL even with 15% tint all around, & a cover craft sunshade. I used an in car thermostat & at 3pm it said 129F! I had remote start on the auto. Still have that unit. It will not remote start a manual. My installer recommended a clifford for an installed price of $550. DEI says my Viper 550 is useless if I want remote start on a manual. They also said no one makes just a remote start unit that can be added to the factory setup that will work on a manual. I really have no problems with the factory now I added the shock sensor to it. Are there any other remote start options I could get? Anyone have some hookup's/recommended shops in the South FL area?
