Any ideas on where to put the tree air freshener besides the rear mirror? Not really a fan of a big tree hanging from the mirror. And i know the kind you mount on your vent works best but i don't use the vents. I ride with the windows down.
any suggestions would be great. thanks

In a public restroom?

 

Just get the clip on ones for the visor, or put something under the seat. Keep it out of view. IMO, they are tacky.

 

Put it under your seat. When people get in your car, they'll wonder "where the hell is that nice scent coming from?" My roommate showed me this trick.

 

i was thinking under the seat or in the side of the door. but i thought if you put it under the seat the smell wouldn't be as strong

 

I have them in the storage spots on the door panels...that works fine and keeps them outta site.

 

When I use those hanger kind I put it on the lights control lever thingie

 

i hang it on the rear ash tray behind the center console. its a good spot and keeps car smelling good.

 

I like to wear it around my neck. Or keep it in my back pocket.

 

Under the seat, that's wear i stick mine. Only problem is, they never seem to last too long under there. Weird. It might be my imagination though. I hate 'em. They are really tacky to look at, I don't care what kind it is.

 

What do you do to/in a car that makes it smell so bad the odor needs to be masked?

 

 

 

I throw it on the back deck by the rear speakers.

 

i put mine under the front seat in front of the ducting.

 

If I get those tree things I hang it on the left turn signal knob, can't even notice it there
