Air box not attached in front missing resonator causing hum?

Hey hope you guys can help buying a acura cl type s manual transmission everything seems nice but as I was going through it I noticed the air box isn't attached in front and then I noticed it was not aligned and the resonator and tub or whatever goes below is missing the car runs great but there is a fairly
out hum from that area any thoughts for a acura rookie?

what sort of hum? if you aren't adding an aftermarket intake, one of the common mods to many cars is to remove the resonator box, which increases intake noise and does allow slightly better breathing. there shouldn't be a constant hum though.

Ok thanks I'm trying to decide whether or not to buy it and besides that it seems very sound the guy claims someone else to the resonator box off and busted the air box bracket in the process and that's what is causing the hum the hum is bad just a light low pitched hum that'seems constant but it's barely noticeable until someone points it out but it's there any thoughts on wether I should buy it still or what could cause that ? Thanks for your help I appreciate it.

that is the most minor issue and shouldn't stop you from buying any car. Throw a cold air intake on then.
