Aftermarket Alarm?

I was reading some of the posts, and everyones right, you can't really trust your car to any lot or parking spot. Anybody have any recommendations on good car alarms that will also cover our HID's? The dealer said it would cost me $400 to upgrade the alarm so it would cover the headlights, I was hoping for something around $300 or less. Thanks for the help.

Re: Aftermarket Alarm?

There are a few options out there: Viper, Clifford.

Do a Search.

I've had no problems and love my Viper 550. 90 % of the time the Alarm is acutally TOO much alarm for my liking, but I love the Car Starter!

I think clifford went out of business and is currently being run by the same company as viper. At least that's what remember. My gf has a clifford alarm and it is great so far. You can always get hood locks and stuff to protect the HIDs, but if someone wants them they will get them. Good security always comes at a price.

My Clifford has worked perfect and have been very pleased with it.
