Aerodynamic Q?
Aerodynamic Q?
Here's an Aerodynamic Question: (somebody has to know the answer!)
What is the Coeffecient of Drag for the stock CL/CL-s?
Is it above 0.30?
...please note that for example, the Celica is .34
the SC430 is .28, and LS is .29, the old Z-car for example was .29, and the G35 is .28
I am sure those of you with atleast a 2 inch drop have better #'s
I am guessing/hoping to be below <.30 !!! (...somedays there's a lot of wind noise/factor)
...the dealer guys were clueless on this, not surprised!

I don't think there's an answer to this one...

I think a factory spoiler and body kit would do little, but lowering would probably do the most.

The new Infinity gets -0.01 in CD reduction from the spoiler; so it's hard to say what the spoiler will do (plus or minus). I know that my car, without the spoiler, loves to "collect" black "soot" on the rear and back of the car (right where I would expect the negative pressure and turbulent area to be).
Dropping the car would definitely kill some lift and cut the drag...
The frontal area is also important too... A low CD with large frontal area is just as bad...
