AEM Pulley's...is it worth it??

I am thinking about buying the AEM Pulleys for my CLS, but i've heard that they are really hard to install and takes a while. I'm not that good mechanically when it comes to tearing apart the engine, is it worth the work or, how much do u gain from it. Also if i wasn't able to do it, how much do u think it would cost to have a mechanic do it

Check with unorthodox pulleys, they in R&D.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! Hard to install!?! Well, if you don't work on your own car...and dont own an impact gun with a swivel joint...get a mechanic to do it....maybe $60-100..

Bingo. It's not an issue of hard to install but impossible to install without the right tools. Alternator pulley is a biotch!

That may be true for Accord v6s but not our CLs.

I think they are worth it...

My car jumps quicker off the line with them and I have never had any dropoff in electrical power. They are definitely worth it for the price...

Save yourself the headache and take it to a speed shop for install... I got mine installed for $40.

An aftermarket performance shop. Where you can take your car to get intakes, pulleys, etc..... installed.

Cool, I work in Plano, so I'm down there all the time. You ever consider stopping by one of the CL meets? We just had one last Sunday.

If you ever see a bald black guy ridin' around in a silver type s, honk yer horn.

Do a search for "pulleys". I don't think anyone on the board had electrical problems. I have never had any problems with mine. I'm also running a single amp at little over 450 watts RMS with a cap.

$99 is the "cost" price. most people will sell them for $125-139 because of markup.

so if you got yours for 80, then your buddy lost money or you bought them used :P
