AEM Programmable EMS for CL's
AEM Programmable EMS for CL's
Well first I remember from a while back, that AEM was coming out with something engine management wise for our cars. Then, I went and checked out their website. Here is the best link ... http://www.aempower.com/ems.htm ... then I called them. I got a hold of a guy named Georgie, very nice and informative. He said yes, they are making it for the CL, availability will be February. Retail cost will be $1,868. The short of it is, it replaces our factory ECU. You'll get full control over fuel, air, ignition, shifting, redline, etc. ... NICE !!!
Yeah right, realtime ...
It is nice that it will plug right into the harness in between our seat warmer buttons, so we won't have to run any wires. Once you get the 'charger and level 10 tranny ... this should be your next big purchase ... you can really do some excellent dyno tuning with it.

California users can forget about it (at least at smog check time), since it will not have a CARB #
Also, better find a good tuner. A good "tunable" ECU is like a scalpel -- it can heal or kill!
