AEM Problems.
i just installed my aem intake today. that thing almost did not fit. i had to do all sorts of shaving had to cut the support bracket and then the inner fenderwell almost would not fit back on. it was like the intake was made for another car. has anyone else had problems like this? i will probably never buy anything from them again.

umm maybe you installed the bottom half in upside down...i started getting pissed cause nothing was fitting but it turned out the bottom piece was just flipped the wrong way...it was tricky cause it still looked right just didnt fit

ys, i did the same things too. i dont know why but i guess i was sent the wrong parts. all i did was cut cut till it fit . i decided to cut it into two pper half 4 the throttle body and rduced the other half till it fit joining them both at the curve with a brace and a 3.5 rubber pvc pipe meant for turbo/boost. it worked fine inthe end no problems.

how can you install it wrong? i got it from option auto. the part numbers were the same as other sites. the bracket was welded about 2 inches too far down. and the pipe was way too long.
