AEM intake

Does anyone have this intake?

http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/aem22416.html

If so, how do you like it? does it affect gas/mileage or void any warranties? also, how much better is the performance? thanks

Well, I'm not sure if you have a CL-P or a CL-S... but that intake is a short-ram intake that only fits the CL-P.

I'd say that 99% of the people on this board have a Cold Air Intake over a short-ram... but AEM makes good stuff... so if that's what you want you should be OK (again, assuming you don't have a Type-S since it won't fit).

As for gas mileage... if you drive normal it will actually improve it since airflow is increased, however, most people tend to drive faster with mods like that....and if you do that it will do down. Warranty cannot be void with any mod unless the dealer can prove that the mod in question actually caused the problem. If you're having doubts... check with your dealer to see their stance on mods as each dealer is different.

You can get an AEM V2 if you have a CLP. It's supposed to be the best AEM intake.

No shouldn't hurt it at all. I actually seem to get a bit better mileage with my Comptech icebox. I think it balances out. You use a bit less gas when cruising (most of the time) and a bit more when nailing it.
