AEM Filter Replacement????? HELP
AEM Filter Replacement????? HELP
Hey I remember someone saying if your filter had a hole in it, AEM would replace it due to design flaws, I was cleaning my filter today with the recharger kit, and i noticed there was the hole!! so.. how would I contact AEM about getting the new filter sent to me? And what kind of information do they need? any help is appreciated.. thanks
damnit..
Still waiting for my damn replacement, dealing with AEM was a b@#ch and a half, don't ever plan on buying anything from them again.
You'll need your receipt (that is if you ever get in contact with the sales rep), if you don't have it your probably going to be out of luck.
I sent mine to them about 2 1/2 weeks ago and they said they were going to send me another filter, and a 'washer' so I can install it on the arm to raise the pipe up more so it's not rubbing.
I'm not so upset now because I don't have my car (its in the shop) but if I did i'd be a little more pissed off. To top that off, the bypass I had broke, and almost got injested into the intake (good thing I put that little rubber band like piece that AEM sent out to fix the possibilty of having the foam element sucked in to the throttle body and engine
