AEM filter damage - Revisited
So, I called AEM about my damaged filter due to the screw that pokes up through the splash guard. They told me that I should have enough clearance if I adjust things around the throttle body (which I think is BS). Then he told me I'd have to pay for the filter if I wanted a new one! Or I could just patch the hole with some silicon sealant. WTF??!?!? I'm sorry, but I don't think I should have to pay for another filter due to a poor design.
Mike.... did you have to pay for your new filter?? Has anyone else called to get a new filter??
Something tells me they're getting a lot of calls about this and now they're cheapin' out and trying to keep from payin' up.

No, they shipped me a new filter. I spoke to Greg who approved the replacement and Steve who shipped it out to me.
Ask to speak to a supervisor.
