This summer, I'll be switching to the AEM EMS 2.

I have a TL swapped to a true manual 6 speed setup, so I'll be switching back to auto sensors. I know I could just switch the setup on the EMS 2 to run the manual sensors, but my car was originally auto.

Various shit doesn't work because of the manual setup without custom wiring (Moonroof, driver's window, etc.), and all of that will be fixed by going back to auto sensors.

From what I undestand, everything will work plug and play except:
-Speedometer
-Tachometer
-Engine coolant temp sensor

There is an easy fix for the speedometer involving a simple switch of sensor position. I don't really care about the engine coolant temp sensor, but I might run a direct engine to cluster setup to fix that.

The only problem I foresee is the tach. The EMS 2 spits out a tach signal for 4cyl clusters, and our 6 cyl cluster uses a different reading. I'm hoping that an external signal modifier can fix this, but I'm not sure yet.

I'll be posting here with questions during the install, and I hope some of you guys will be able to help me out when I get stuck

 

i'm not sure i'll be much help, but good luck! Any more power plans? You could PnP the heads if they're coming off.

Also check with www.KingsPerformance.com since they have tuned many Hondas / Acuras w/the AEm wether they are naturally aspirated or blown.

They tuned mine (6 speed / supercharged) & it's perfect.
