hey i bouight my aem cai and ct springs two weeks ago, today i got my springs installed and tommrow ill get my aem cai installed with my uncle. IM wonderin i heard in videos but how nice does it sound in real life?

 

i got a aem cai...it sounds tough!....i would rev it or when my homies hear me take it hard down a street..they said it sounded very mean and tough....you'll love it man...

also could u feel the hp increase, does it sound pimp outside like people would be dayum

 

i did it myself...it's pretty easy actually...for mine i had to re adjust this one tube..haha..i forget what it's called but it wasn't bad at all...it took me an hour and a half but i'm sure i can do it quicker now...and when you drive pass people when you're gunning it...heads are gonna turn...=0D

It sounds mean in vtec, thast prtty much the only engine mod I have and every1 turns there heads when they hear it.

 

i got it also it sounds great.. i dont know about any noticable power differance. but i ran 14.712 at 94mph with it and it wasnt that cold yet i think maybe a 14.6 now

You're gonna love it. I installed mine myself, fairly easy, the first install I did to the car ... Its got a great sound through the RPM range but when you floor it and catch that VTEC ... you will definetly turn heads
PS- As far as performance goes .. I ran a 15.08 bone stock, and a 14.88 with the AEM .. so it must add something. Try removing your passenger side road lamp or if you have an 03 like me remove the plastic thing so it can get more air at the track ...

if 2 cl-s raced one w/ cai one w/ ice box neither would have an advantage, it would be a drivers race

its not like the ice box produces so much more power

 

i agree, from 60-100 I could only take my friends 01 type S stock by a half a car.

 

The fog/driving light housing on the driver's side. If you remove that, it would act as ram-air, bringing more cold air into the intake.

BTW, I have an AEM, and I love its growl.

 

i installed it and its fukin loud as hell so much louder then the vids
