are you just not "feeling it" at lower rpms? or at higher rpms?

CAI is mainly for higher RPM hp gains...you're not gonna feel it at lower rpms..

you should search and read soopa's thread on his CAI
ppl talk about the CAI actually lowering lower end rpm hp

is there an easy way to reset the ecu without having to have the radio and navi codes?

well it'll relearn in about 100 miles ... that's about your only other option.

So, how hard was it to install, especially with the bypass? I'm considering getting one, but I'd rather do it myself if possible and save some bucks. That and I'm a big pussy and I don't want to blow up my motor with hydrolock.

It's pretty easy, if you have the proper equipment, and have a rough idea of what you are doing.

You should really reset the ECU... the car is not feeling the CAI difference yet...dyno will be pointless....

I think it implies that its a Supra TT with the single turbo upgrade.

That is correct!
Although these days it is neither! going back to a twin setup but custom!

The CAI is VERY easy to install if you have ANY mechanical ability at all! i really didnt follow the instructions very much, read through them once and then just got to work!

I havent put the Bypass in yet, i dont have a hacksaw to cut through the pipe or iw ould have done it. I will be puttin it on later, but if you have a hacksaw i dont see the Bypass bein a prob!

The car started to feel a lil better later in the evening (about 50 miles) i think the car has adapted to the CAI without a reset of the ECU.
ill let you guys know tomorrow!

I don't have the CAI yet, so this is for future reference - how do you reset the ECU?
