Forget what I said earlier. Just bit the bullet and said to myself don't be a bish and just get it. 100 extra bucks for a color is a dumb excuse heh. I guess we'll both see when we get it

looks like they have them for A/T also at a $100 shipped. it says it fits 00-03 TL's and CL's. dunno about the type S tho. might want to ask them just to make sure.

Hey pnoiboy you got the intake yet? I received it today and I'll try to put it on myself tomorrow. Never do work on my car by myself so hope I don't jack anything up heh.

I saw there was a diy for front bumper removal so I'll check that out also. Gotta get me a set of tools also. Man, I'm so not prepared heh

haha, no not yet, but thats coz im here in WI. it will get here friday. A friend of mine and I will tackle it. He has experience working on cars, Nissan's, but still its experience. He actually has an s15, sweet car, shipped from cali when he used to live there. So what did it all come with? intake tubes? does it come with instructions and the license plate frame (don't really care if it comes with the frame, just asking coz thats what it says it come with).

No plate frames but DOES come with the decal haha. And it does come with the tube, clamps, and all that good stuff.

Lucky for you that you have a buddy that worked on cars before. I'm doing this myself with no experience. I don't think its as hard as it looks.

yeah i dont think it should be too hard. as long as you follow the directions and take your time. i was looking at the instructions on the AEM website and from there it looked pretty straight forward. Well good luck and let us know how it turned out! cant wait to get mine!!

Aem update!!!

Alright guysssss. Aem intake is in with the help of Lawsofpower48. THANK YOU BUDDY . Damn, with both our noob experience in this and instructions we were getting confused with was a bish!

We were like "Uh, where the hell do all these hoses go?" Things sticking out here and there, pulling tubes here and there but finally we got finished. Man, the time we took to install the cai was good enough for a woman to give birth to her child haha

Anyways, I'll probably have pictures up tomorrow because I am beat! BTW pnoiboy, once you know where those damn tubes go, its a piece of cake. ALSO for everyone, you DO NOT need to take out the front bumper annnnd GOOD NIGHT!

So i made a video comparing the stock and the AEM intake. I didn't notice much of a difference in sound, but i dont know if its just me.
