AEM CAI 21-416 and 21-419
I know the 21-419 is for the Type-S because it is shorter in length to accomodate the VSA TBA, but my question is if the diameter or thickness of the piping is the same as the 21-416 for the CL-P. Reason being I just got one made for the CL-P for my CL-S and if I just trim it a bit to make room for the VSA TB.
It was 50 dollars btw and came with a bypass valve and new filter/hardware.
Worst comes to worse I can put it on my girlfriends CL-P.

same diameter. should be able to cut it. i'm not sure i've never had the aem. i want it though. i too would like to know the difference between cl-p, cl-s AT, and cl-s MT aem intakes. i know 6spd doesnt have vsa so its longer, but are they all the same bends and all?

Hi guys. This is an old thread but I am about to buy AEM cai from a guy. The problem is his car type-S and mine is TL-p. From previous message . I wonder is there any mod to get the AEM cai of type-S fit into TL-p. Thanks guy!
