Hey guys...
I have a 01 CL-P with a salvage title. I'm looking to get rid of it. It doesn't have any problems, just 65k miles.
So...I'm trying to decide whether I want to go with another CL, type S with navi only, or if I should try something different.
I hope to get 11-12k for mine, and I can probably add about 4k to it, which puts me in the 15-16k price range.
Can you guys recommend anything else that would be in that range that gives me similar options and hp?? I'd like a TL, but I'm not sure if I'll find a 2002 within that range.

I feel sorry for the sucker that buys that car. Doesnt matter if its brand spanking new, a salvage title shouldnt be touched with a ten foot pole, specially at the price.

You don't say why you are selling it. Only other CL I'd get would be an 03 6 speed, and that may not be in your budget.
If you are selling it now to avoid future problems that is what a buyer will be thinking about too and will effect the price.

Even though I wasn't necessarily looking for comments on the salvaged title sale, they've been most helpful :pfawk:
The current title does not indicate salvage, but yes it was issued one at one time and rebuilt through Acura. It was a leased vehicle, side-swiped, repaired and given back to leasee, and then bought back by acura and sold. I did my research before I bought the damn thing. Who wants problems?
But yes, I am concerned about what I'll get for it if I continue to roll up the miles. So can we get back to my original question concerning what you'd look for if you had 15k to spend?

I'd look for an MR2 Turbo and spend the other 7-8k on upgrading it...make it put about 500RWHP with the engine over top of the wheels....that'd be nice...
Kinda interesting they gave that car a salvage title for a sideswipe. And you'd be lucky to get 10k for it...I could probably get 16k for my 03 with 49k miles on it.

If you dont want side comments, then simplay ask what would you guys look for with 15g to spend.
