do it! A friend of mine had a very hard time selling his '99 Prelude stick shift. He had a front damage already taken care off, but it was depreciating the car like crazy. He sold it for 9 grand after about 4 months. Dealers did not want to buy it. They said they were really hard to sell

Those numbers might be innacurate considering the current conditions of the used car market. You should take those 15K now IMO.

UGH!!! This is why i got CL, i couldnt find a 5th gen manual prelude in LA to save my life.

Yeah price sounds about right, Id say go for it.

Only preludes the dealers really covet are Type SH's

The Prelude is often difficult to sell, as already mentioned.

Consider running an eBay ad to sell it. They are actually a bit more popular, I've found, in areas such as where I am (north Atlanta).

Develop a real quality ad with many pictures (including any spots, blemishes, etc.) if you do go eBay. List any issues and allow shipping it (buyer pays of course).

It is. My wife has a '99 Prelude sportshift and the tranny has been replaced twice at this point (48K miles)

My buddy bought a 2001 Lude earlier this year with some 19k miles and just recently had its tranny replaced.

Taking that 15k might be a good idea although I still see 00-01 ludes with similar or fewer miles going for 18-21K. My buddy got his for a little under 18K.

For perspective....

Sold my '97 Prelude SH (5MT) for 11K as a dealer trade-in when I bought my CL-S6 last year. The Prelude had some (repaired) front-end damage (noted when inspected) and just under 60K miles.
