Adding a sub
Adding a sub
I went to my local car audio store about adding a sub to the stock system. Do you guys think adding two tens will drown out the mids and highs of the stock system? Did anyone add just a sub to the stock system and how does it sound? Thanks

My Pride
I'm upgrading my interiors because the subs do drown down the interior. It all depends on how much bass you like. If i had it set 1/4..it sounds good, and I wouldnt need to upgrade the interior. I like a little umph..not too much, but enough to drown the interior.

I bought the amp and epicenter probably 10 years ago, quite expensive back then, but it paid to buy top quality! Still sounds great. I've rotated this equipment through 3 or 4 cars since I bought it.
A local shop sold me the 12" polk momo woofer for $250 bucks. Of course that was after several weeks of haggling with them. I have a pair JL Audio 12w6's in my Accord, and this single Polk hits deeper and frankly sounds better than the JL's. Didn't think I'd every buy anything but another JL, but I was just really impressed by the sound of this woofer. But it's all personal preference anyway.
