The one on the back is the "vacum hose" and the on the front is the "breather pipe". You would better ask Jen or an Acura' Engineer for their purpose!

sweet. exactly what i've been waiting for. only reason i have been holding off on xephyr's is cause i didn't like the fact that x's connected his to the convoluted rubber sleeve attached to the throttle body. seems like that design would still have turbulent air going in. now the ? is how much and what kind of gains.

So where is this CAI available for purchase?
So this CAI does not have the think to prevent water from being sucked in to the enginge? Bad times there ...

fuhoo,
A CAI stands for "Cold Air Intake". It actually draws ambient air from outside the car. Most aftermarket intakes are the underhood type which draws air from under the hood which is hotter than outside air. This potentially will decrease HP.
on the other hand, the CAI draws ambient air which is cooler than underhood air, thus producing more power.

Looks nice but it does'nt have the "hydro-lock bypass filter" or a way to convert to the short ram configuration.

fuhoo,
Cold air is more dense than warm air, all things being equal. The more dense the air, the more oxygen per cubic foot...sort of like nature's supercharger.

01 CL-S San Marino Red/Black, K&N drop in, no nav, rear wing, otherwise stock thus far, has an appetite for Bavarian cars.

Finally a REAL intake!!!! I thought that they were going to make it a two piece so you could convert to a short ram or better off put a aem by pass valve on it.
Oh and did it come w/ the red tubings?

Comptech Headers, Comptech Sways, Eurolite Xenon Crystal high beams.
AEM CAI once they decide to make the dame thing.
235/40/17's or 225/45/17's once I found out which one works for me.
gtech 0-60 6.03 w/ 438 pound load. preheader.

What people dont know, the cls dosnt need a bypass valve for the cai. the air filter itself is mounted so high up, that there would be no way for water to get in from behind the bumper.
