Acura rep just mentioned A-Cl.com....
Called to file a formal complaint w/ Acura re: my tranny failure and the rep started saying that he was "sorry, but Acura has fixed the problem..." I told him that I was aware of numerous people that were on their 2nd, 3rd or even 4th tranny and that Acura has failed to rectify the current tranny situtation. He then said, that those w/ multiple failures had received new tranny's before the design changes were made. I again pointed out that I do not believe that this is case. He then said
"If you are refering to things you've seen on A-CL.com, we believe that these are isolated incidents and not indicitive of the overall situation"
He said that not that many transmissions have failed
If you have had problems w/ your tranny, please call Acura Customer Service 1-800-382-2238 and file a complaint. W/ the exception of my tranny, I love my car. However, I highly doubt I will buy another Honda/Acura product.

Geesh... what a joke, try another dealer I guess or jump through the hoops and call the number... I pray I never have to go through that... I could just imagine how pissed off you are.
