This might be a dumb question but I'm posting it anyway. Before picking up my 2003 6MT CLS, the dealer had the hood, roof and trunk repainted because of a few acid raid spots. I just noticed today that under the A emblem on the trunk that my car doesn't say A C U R A. After searching the photo posts, some cars have it and some don't. I don't know if this is a standard emblem that people have taken off, or if it comes standard and the paint shop forgot to put it back on. Just curious....thankx for your replies.

Stock CLS has A-C-U-R-A glued on across the center of the trunk, 3.2CL & Type S logos glued on the t0p right edge, and an A logo screwed on in the upper middle of the trunk.

 

Leave it without the ACURA.

What color is your CL? How many miles? How much you pay?

Black 6MT CLS from dealer only 162 miles (demo car), picked it up 3 weeks ago, now has 800miles. Paided 28K including spoiler add-on. I can't make it this weekend but would be interested in making it out to other meets.

Tonight I installed an AEM CAI, took me about 2 hours which i heard is around normal. Haven't noticed a huge sound difference, maybe theres a break-in period. But I do have this weird sound when I turn off the engine, sounds like when you try to start an automatic car when its already started. Hopefully that will go away on its own.

 

The sound you hear when you turn off your car is normal, it's a sucking sound from the intake as the engine turns off. It will always be there. The sound of AEM will definitely kick in at VTEC.

I too pciked up my car with about 108 miles in January. My car was sitting in the back of some dealer's lot untouched. Good find
