Acura dealer horror

So i went to 2 different acura dealers in the past week and both have turned out to be horror. first i went to Libertyville Acura to do my 75k mile service. When i was in i asked him if he cld remove the screws from my rear license plate since they were stripped and the metal screw was rusted to the metal bracket. here is the pics of the damage they caused from removing the screws.

Today i went to Pauly Acura to have them look at my clutch. i asked if i could go with for the test drive and the guy said no, just wait in the waiting room. I should have known to leave right then. Here is the damage from them having my car for 15 minutes.

Im pretty pissed right now, both places denies doing any of it and says i did the damage not them. They said they dont care if they have me as a customer even after i bought 2 acuras and they wont help me out at all. Basically i know for sure they did it cause i washed my car the day before. So now the question is what to do, fight it or just pay out of my own pocket. I dont ever want to go to an acura dealer again. Can i get any other shop to do my service check ups cause ive never gotten my car back from acura without damage.

They even scraped the inside of the black vent dunno how thats even possible. On top of all this the guy says my clutch PP is pretty worn and he thinks it will only last another 10k miles. It isnt slipping yet tho. Fun week so far. All the damage ive ever gotten on my car is all from acura dealers or other ppl hitting my car when its parked. I hate ppl

My bumpers were flawless before these acura visits i know for sure they did them both cause i inspected the car before i drove it into service bay. I guess i have to learn from now on to take pictures of the whole car in the service area, point out to them there isnt damage, and make sure i am watching the car every second it is being worked on with a camera ready to show them damaging it.

Go back, talk to a service manager, and calmly explain what happened. If he still says it was your fault, make sure there are plenty of customers around and start screaming.

Things like "You damaged my car and now you wont pay for it!" get the customers attention. When their heads start to turn, hes on the hot seat. Hes either going to lose more business by repeating what he said, or hes going to give in and repair them.

Also threaten to open a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Acura Corporate.

I did all this threatened to file a report with bbb, threatened to file one with acura headquarters and threatened to take them to court. The guy just laughed at me and walked away. I even had someone else who knows more about the law come in and talk to him also. Guess my only option is to go to court or pay myself. I will definately be goin back there and telling every customer how shitty they are.

I guess it dsnt help that the service manager says hes the one that was driving my car and knows he didnt hit anything. I doubt he will ever admitt it now.

Why do people think the BBB is some magical government organization that has any power? They're a non-profit company that has NO power. They will simply send a letter to Acura saying "This person has a problem, please fix it." That's all they do. I've dealt with them in the past and that's the full extent of their power. Don't even bother.

If your in the NW burbs of Chicago and you don't find a decent indy shop, you might want to try Acura of Brookfield near Milwaukee. It'll take a little over an hour to get there, but I have had very good luck with them. I know that a lot of the Chicago NSX owners only take their NSX's to AOB because they are NSX experts.

this guys complained about this before.

the op has a history on here of complaining about Acura shops. Check all these posts about him bashing the Acura dealerships. And he is still going?

https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-cl-2001-2003-50/acura-body-shop-464825/

You giuys think theirs anyway i can get them to pay for it. They don't like taking responsibility for anything. Makes me so angry. Oh they also put my car through an auto car wash many times without telling me so my paint which i kept perfect, is now scrathced everywhere.
Well guy left me a message saying that well the knob you said isnt an acura accesory, and we had to repaint ur bumper 4 times just to meet your satisfaction so it defies logic that you would ask us to replace ur shift knob cause you elegibly say we scratched it. The answer is no, we will not replace it.

I wanna smash this guys head in
https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-cl-2001-2003-50/car-smashed-while-parked-463885/

Also my car is silver, and they did a horrible job of blending the paint. Were they blended on the hood, there are small gray spots that arent anywhere else, and at first the guy said he saw it, and now is denying and saying there isnt anything there. Pure bs. Anyone in the area avoid libertyville autobody at the acura dealer. Biggest pain ive ever seen. Probably gonna have to take it to another shop, or just buy myself a carbon fiber hood. heh

It's a shitty situation OP. I mean, u cannot "prove" anything. especially something like that. you need dates, explicit photos, etc. it's just not in the cards bro.

If I were you I'd stake outside theie place for an entire day with a couple of ur supporting buddys and make a SCENE with picket signs.. I'm sure the DLR will lose a couple grand worth of business that one day!

but as for you... looks like u need to do ur own work, or find an acura mechanic who is ur friend and is at a close dlr so u can take ur car and make sure only HE handles the car.... which is what I do (for the things I cannot accomplish myself... like a timing belt, valve adjustment, etc)

Well I don't think you could actually prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the damage wasn't there before you took it in... unless you have dated photos or something...? I dunno. What IMO you could do for the time being is call a legal consultant, get legal advice.

At the very least, just know not to ever go there again?

but i think brian6speed has complained one too many times and about small things too, which is why the dealers do not care if they lose him as a customer, but are willing to keep taking his money as long as he keeps coming back

It CAN happen FYI so, give him at least a lil slack (benefit of the doubt)

youre bringing up the only complaint threads i ever had and they are 2-3 years old. Do u remember them from that far back or do you have so much free time you searched for every thread i ever made

and btw that thread was about a body shop not the acura dealer/service.
