Acura Cl Speedometer problem

Acura Cl Speedometer problem

OK so i decided to play the drums on my dashboard. little did i know the damn speedometer jumps everytime u tap the dash! so i didnt notice and before u know it it pasts 160mp and now its on the opposite side of the rest pin! same goes for rpm meter as well. wtf do i do now? this happens as car was not turned on. its a 2003 Cl Base

your gonna have to pull the gauge cluster out pull the cover off exposing the needles, and turn the needle back around.

Not that hard, all you do is remove the dash screws right above the speedometer cluster gauge and remove the dash cover. The most hardest part is getting the plastic cover off the hinges that cover the gauge cluster. You might have to do a little pulling. But it easily breaks, so watch out!

or just buy a type S cluster for 50 off ebay and give urself a nice mod at the same time.

and that way you know for certain it'll work.

that's what I'd do if i had the base or the S.. fixing it can be wishful thinking in many cases.

hhaa good idea but i fixed it, just spun the needle back and works fine. also replaced my clock bulb, now its green =)
