Is this gonna be like the stickers and take forever to finally happen or is this being done?

If i had any way of contributing i would..but i would really be interested in shirts, turtle necks, hats, and thongs..

Ouch! Let's see,

The material comes in rolls of 15" by 30' minimum, per color. So I had better be sure on what I want.
There are 3 different qualities of the material.
In the higher grade material (the one I chose based on input here), there are 7 shades of red, 3 shades of white, and 2 shades of silver, not to mention the half dozen gray.

I ordered samples from the supplier, and drove to my dealer, 16 city miles away, on a F#$k'ing freezing cold Friday evening to hold the smaples up against the CL's on the lot, so I could get the colors as close as possible.

I then placed my order, with a significant cash outlay. When the stock came in, I cut samples in about 5 different sizes, and placed them one at a time (razoring each off in between), on my car in order to get the right size. Then I started to cut quantity, on my lunch hour.

Once cut, you have to remove the center of each "a" and each "o". Then carefully remove the excess material around all of the letters so that you are left with the sticker (over 60 decals so far). Then they have to be taped, squeegee'd, and cut into separates.

All while performing the duties of husband, father, corporate employee, and "fledgling" small business owner.

All in the name of doing something cool for the forum. Sorry it took so long.

I'll hit "submit reply" now, before I really get pissed.

P.S. This Thursday or Friday I find out if I am going to lose my job after 17 Years. I'll try not to let that interfere with mailing you your stickers.

My plan is to place an order by next Monday. I am just waiting to get the last bits of info from the embroidering company.

At this point it looks like we are doing hats, tees, sweatshirts, polo shirts and thongs.

As for the turtle necks ... I am looking for a higher quality shirt then they offer so we are negotiating about that.

I will post prices tomorrow and people can tell me what they want and sizes and all that stuff. I think we will do payment by paypal.

i am talking about the "talking" of the stickers for our CL's all the way since we were sharing forums wiht the TL people... just the talking about it, what you did was A GREAT JOB and i really want to thank you.

Sorry, i should have been more specific..thanks again, and maybe you should charge more for the time you spent for the stickers..i mean we all want to help eachother out, but if anything gets in the way of your real life, then you have every right to delay anything.,, its something i would do to.

sorry if i sounded a little negative in the post..but i am really anxiuos for anything with the acura-cl.com logo on it.. if you see my eyes, you will see the same expression that you would see when you tell a 10 year old your taking him to McDonalds..

hahaha, i didnt think people would notice the rejection thing from the girls. i am not looking to mack girls online..i just would get real hype if a saw a bomb chic driving a CL, and only a CL.

on a related topic, these girls i know agreed to pose with BIKINIS on my car..so if we do get thongs, expect some pics of girls wearing those too!! but we have to wait till summer..so look out for pics.

oh and Fbazakos..i never used to say eh, and i never did understand why they say its canadian, i hear david letterman, jay leno and a bunch of people on american talk shows saying it all the time..i say it now though, sometimes...and its not "A" its spelled "eh" haha..its funny, it would be dumb saying the first letter of the alphabet for no reason after every sentence.
