Acura 24hrs Road Assistance
hey, whats that stuff on my window saying that I can call some 800 number 24hr/day to get help if something happens with my car.
How does it actually work? What kinds of things they do? Flat tires, towing?
Do they charge you anything?
Have any one actually use it? Cause it all might sound nice and stuff, but I wanted to know some real stories

The road side assistance is pretty good. They offer free towing to the nearest acura dealer. This recently saved my $130.00
They aren't like AAA they are better. AAA wanted $130.00 to tow to the same place. Used to have AAA for maps and towing but I don't need them for either anymore ! !!
Hello Acura Good Bye AAA

In July, I was in Myrtle Beach and I happened to close the trunk with the keys in it. So I called the 800#. The nearest Acura dealer was about 40 miles away so they sent a local locksmith to open the car within 30 min. I believe you are covered up to $100 for minor incidents like lockouts, flats, etc. They can also plan routes for road trips. So I'd say my experience so far is pretty good.

It is really nice the only thing it does not do for you is offer the bail like AAA. I had a flat twice once on a road trip a nail went through the side wall they put me up for the night and then changed the tire in the mouring... Just make sure you watch the guy when he changes your tire that he does not place the rim on the ground.. I want onstar so they can tell me were I am.. that is so cool..
