was wondering if the 01+ acccord v6 exhausts the same desgin internally as the cls/clp? i ask cause i want to add custom tips (don't want loud sound), but the shops say its too hard to weld on new tips on ours so i would like to trade exhaust with an accord owner?? possible?

 

From what I know, most parts should be interchangeble between the 6th Gen Accord V6 and the CL/TL.

 

Most, but not all. Some AV6 exhausts do need some modification to fit the CL-S. Case in point...I really, really want the GReddy Evo catback. Unfortunately, it will require slight modification for CL-S installation. So, I'm gonna wait a month and hope that the EVO specifically designed for the CL-S will be released...as the mod shop manager claims(I assume his source would be GReddy since he is a direct/official distributor)

 

All you have to do to make it fit is remove the flange from your stock b pipe and replace it with the greddy one and you also have to extend it a little about 3" if remember correct..
Find out if the exhaust for a 4 door is longer than the one for a 2 door and you might not have to do as much; mine is of a 2 door.........feel me ?

you think performance wise, they would be similar? would i see a decrease in hp/tq?.. don't really think so, i looked at my neighbors's and it looks real similar, just a little shorter. thanks guys....
