Not saying this cuz I'm Korean but I have to say that Hyundai came a long way with the XG. Ofcourse everyone laughs when someone says Hyundai, but remember Honda back in the early 80's, it was sort of a joke to everyone when you had one, but I guess you can say "who's laughing now"

With the 3.5L engine, how much horsepower is the XG350 pushing?

2002 3.2 CL

It only has 194 hp and only in the 2002 model. The other year models had 170. It sucks gas and has no power. You all say honda was like that but not true at all. In japan honda was like american cars were here before all those cars came to the states. Then all things changed when the first Japan luxary car cam here (Acura) and then the Birth of the Great and unstopalbe (at the time) NSX. Now Honda is doing it again with I-Vtec and the V8 power in the NSX, RL, And Honda Truck. Acura is still working on the 6 speed manual CL-S according to what I have read and i think a 5 speed manual for the CL-P. Rumor has it that a 6 speed automatic is in the works and might be for the v8 NSX as an option and maybe the CL-S.

The people at Acura need to get their heads out of their asses and develop a 6 speed sequential similar to the SMGII. Maybe something that's not as bad ass and expensive, but something very similar, especially for the NSX.

I agree.

Hyundai's are no joke mang. They are an incredible bang for the buck... and the styling on all their new cars is sweet.

They all look like benz's or lexus's.

I'm not saying I would buy one. But... their sweet deals nonetheless.


The XG looks like a freakin LS400.... has twice the luxury of its competitors... and costs like nothing. lol

i believe that accord is going to change the style soon..so i will not consider accord..unless u like the current version and style
