accord fogs

I really want to put fogs on my car but its so hard to find fogs that fit our cars right, and i dont wanna buy those cheap 3" fogs from ebay, even tho what i found is from ebay but looks good. do u guys think this would fit?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/06-07...QQcmdZViewItem

its from an 03 accord coupe, maybe with some cutting/modification, it would fit? i have an 03 cl-s btw, so getting lamps from an 01 cl would work but theyre so freakin hard to find. so what do u guys think?

The lamps from an 01 CL aren't too hard to find at all, I'd offer you my extra pair, but Fuzzy02CLS picked them up a little while ago. I know several online acura dealerships sell them for something like $40 bucks.

yeah 40 bucks per lamp, and i think its only the vent cover, not to be used as a lamp.

The 03 inserts are about $25 from any of the online oem acura parts places, but yeah, good luck finding some new 01 lamps.

WTF are you guys talking about ?? Are the 01/02 Lamps NLA ?? (no longer available) ??

Took me all of about 45 seconds to look up the foglight housings Just goto the info sticky/big red annoucement and pull up the thread about the foglights:

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94153

Then plug in the parts numbers in any of the online OEM parts places (most of them listed here in another thread from the info sticky/big red annoucement):

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=179592

I used oemacuraparts.com because it was the first one I came across...

It took me longer to type this post then it did to find the part numbers and online source for the parts...

What am I missing here ??? Are you guys just too cheap to buy the parts new ??

Damn, I really don't know how some of you dress yourselves every morning :shakehead

^greenmonster

first of all i did search. all over. i searched acura oem parts, could not find jack, why? coz i thought it would be part of the "parts" instead of accesories, which if you think abuot it, it is a stock part and not an optional accesory. plus it is only labled as a light unit, not road lamp or fog lamp, so how would i have known it was the road lamp. but thank you anyways for pointing me in the right direction. im still curious how the accrod fogs would look like tho. what do you think? and 60 for both isnt bad, and 125 for the whole thing isnt bad either. but yeah, what do u think?

I looked through the parts list also, but they weren't listed. I didn't try searching using the part#, my bad.

Fog light unit, right, Acura 2002 CLS, P/N 33901-S3M-A02
Fog light unit, left, Acura 2002 CLS, P/N 33951-S3M-A02

Though, you won't get very far with the OEM road lamps, they'll melt with anything but the stock 5w bulbs. Fuzzy's running some PIAAs, if I remember correctly. Thats about the only way you can go with a suedo PnP deal.

The 01/02 CL lamps will fit an 03 but keep in mind that they are only road lamps and not fog lamps. World of difference between the two.
