Accident... need some parts
Hey fellas... a couple of days ago i was driving along... i was going on a sharp curve when a deer popped out of nowhere. i panicked and swerved to miss it and i smashed into the curb and right through someones mailbox, and flew in between a huge tree and a parked car. my rim broke when i smashed into the curb and i lost control of the car and i skidded across the road to the other side and barely missed another parked car and tree and i came to a stop on someone's yard... i freaked out and tried to run away but couldn't so i had a tow truck come pick the car up.
i need to get
speed sensor for front left wheel 57455-S84-A52
left front knuckle 51215-S84-A02
half shaft 44500-S87-A00
hub assembly left front wheel 44600-S87-A00
anyone know where i can get these cheap? so far i can only find acuraoemparts.com, but they're a little expensive. there are other parts i need but i was able to find them for much cheaper + free shipping on from http://www.autopartsauthority.com
body wise i have some scratches and a dent on the right passenger side door. my windshield also cracked but everything else is fine...
i'm also wondering if anyone knows where i can get cheap tires for 19" rims, im thinking about getting acuracl1's 19 inch axis hagens but the tires for 19" wheels are expensive as hell..!
thanks for your help...

Rez...My best advise is to see if you can find any of this crap in a junk yard. Hub assembly etc should still be good. Other than that....at least you're OK and it seems like the damage to the car could have been worse. Good thing you didn't have those rims on there because you would have had to add about $600.

im not in any trouble with the cops... i talked to them and everything is cool... no ones is pressing charges, im paying for the mailbox i hit.
thanks for the comments, it would be good to find a junked cl-s but i think it would take awhile to get the parts off of it. i would like to get my cls back in road condition soon as possible

I would have just hit the deer. But yeah a junk yard is the best source. You can get the parts new also. www.acuraautomotiveparts.org

i was in a similar accident about a month ago but i hit a guardrail and had about $7000 worth of damage.
some people gave me the same advice and said i should have hit the deer... why is that? wouldn't a head on collision be worse? or does the insurance see it better to hit a deer?
thanks.

Swerving to miss the deer could cause losing control of the car and cause even more damage (ditch, guardrail, oncoming traffic). Plus deer is good eaten.

Go to www.acuraautomotiveparts.org they are an actual Acura dealership in Atlanta I believe, but they sell the Acura OEM parts a lot cheaper than what my dealer will. For example I just bought a replacement foglight housing for my '03tls, my local dealer said $190, www.acuraautomotiveparts.org quoted me $140.
