Acceleration question on the Koni yellows

I adjusted my Koni Yellows a half turn before a recent twisties run and maybe it's a coincidence, but since then on several quick spurts i've chirped the tires where i can barely remember ever chirping them before. Does this make sense ? Is there a correlation between firming up the struts and what i'm seeing with the chirps. Thanks.

i think your tires just got more worn out from driving so damn fast with me about 2 feet from the rear of your car at the last Sac meet

OR you stopped on the crosswalk line and chirped upon acceleration

I will adjust mine to VERY SOFT as they are VERY STIFF right now. I will let you know what I think!!!

Maybe you are just flooring it a bit more lately????
Maybe after driving the MDX, you get in your car and press the gas just a little harder than normal cause you are used to the MDX gas pedal???

I think the firmer you make the shocks the less you will chirp the tires because the car will resist transfering the weight from front to back. I adjusted mine to full stiff one time and I could not feel the car move back and forth when I shifted.

i leave mine at 100% tight in the front, and about 90% in the back ... but I only drive on the weekends and the track. it is perfectly balanced given the rest of my suspension. oh, and the related note, i can't chirp my tires worth a damn.

at 50% stiff, I have less "chirping" than ever. People are amazed at how well the car handles high-speed curves and turns now.
I can say that I have much, much less squeal and chirp on the high speed turns and curves.

Thanks for all the replies, it doesn't sound like adjusting to firmer would give me more chirping based on the responses. Maybe i'm just lead footing it more, if that's possible

Bro, I think you're using more right foot, and less left foot, if you know what I mean. :P
